The research project stated in the pitch video would be of auto-ethnographic nature as no research of this format has been undertaken before. While including the auto-ethnographic in a video form is an easier way to digest information, this format would also be useful as it could appeal to a different audience. Film fans who watch online reviews may find this of interest as videos like these often perform well.
In addition to my pitch video, I think it’s important to note that the research undertaken here would be relevant to a variety of audiences:
- This would help media students see how and why things become popular, while also giving some advice on social media and marketing strategy.
- Film makers or film students would find this useful as it shows what fans love and hate about film as well as tips to building fans.
- If anyone behind the scenes of A24 were to see this research, I believe that they would view it as a helpful insight into their own brand.
